Singles Cooking Class – NSW

Single? Fantastic! During this singles’ cooking class in Sydney you’ll learn how to chop, sizzle and flambe with a group of other fun and lively singles. Perhaps this exciting cooking class will lead to a romantic dinner for two. And if it does, you’ll know precisely how to impress!

Located at our vibrant, funky converted warehouse in Surry Hills, you’ll cook, laugh and enjoy great wine with a group of other singles aged around 28-45.

We organise the cooking tables to age ranges and encourage lots of moving around so you get to cook and chat with lots of others. You can be certain there will be someone gorgeous to help you cook!

At the end of the event we supply you with cards on which you nominate anyone who’s heated up the kitchen for you! If they’ve nominated you, you’ll both be notified the following day and given each other’s contact details…if you haven’t already swapped them on the day, that is!

This is an activity that’s fun and gives you something enjoyable to do. We’ll make it very easy to relax and have a laugh, with plenty of wine and music…well, it’s basically a party!

This Parasailing, Jet Ski & Jet Boat Ride for Two combines the best of air and water to give you a triple dose of Gold Coast thrills! Hang on in a jet boat, whiz around on a jet ski and soar above the world under a billowing parasail in a sensational package that’s sure to brighten your day.

First up, it’s the jet boat. Jump on board our awesome V8-powered jet boat for 45 minutes of pure adrenalin! Check out the multi-million dollar mansions and impressive super yachts as we cruise up the Nerang River and then HOLD ON as we blast into the beautiful Gold Coast Broadwater.

Once out in the open it’s time to feel the amazing performance power of the jet boat as we perform a series of incredible high-speed slides and turns, wicked fishtails and awesome 360-degree spins.

After your jet boat blast you will be dropped off at the jet ski park near the Sea World Resort at Main Beach. After a safety briefing you will be given a life jacket and set loose on one of our 1500cc jet skis. Our jet skis are capable of reaching speeds of over 100km/h so you’re in for a lot of fun as you dart around our 1km course.

Then it’s out to sea again…this time for your parasailing flight!

If you’ve been parasailing before, you’ll know you’re in for an awesome adventure. And if you haven’t, well, there’s a fantastic surprise ahead of you.

Set aloft in your harness and gliding in tandem beneath the canopy of the parasail, far above the water, you will get the perfect seagull’s eye view of the Broadwater and Surfers Paradise skyline.

Numbers: The price quoted is for two people. You will both ride on the jet ski together and will parasail in tandem. There will be up to 14 people in the jet boat and up to eight eight people in the boat when you go parasailing.

Weather: This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of lightning, strong winds or storms we may need to reschedule your experience for a later date.

Session Length: This experience is available seven days a week from 10am – 3pm, excluding Christmas Day. Your jet boat ride is 45 minutes, jet ski hire is 30 minutes, and parasailing is 60 minutes, including 10 minutes of air time. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Exact times to be confirmed.

Helicopter Scenic Flight – Triple Lighthouse Tour – NSW

Take the Triple Lighthouse Tour and climb on board for a 90-minute helicopter scenic flight. Flying over the stunning Sapphire Coast, you will look down to see glittering ocean, glistening ribbons of beach and magnificent headlands. You’ll also fly over three lighthouses dotted along the coastline.

The Triple Lighthouse Tour begins at our modern heliport, located at Merimbula airport. Climb on board our lovely new helicopter, complete with air-conditioning, and feel the adrenaline rise as the helicopter blades whir into action above you. Pop on the noise-reducing headset and get ready for lift-off!

The 1.5 hour scenic flight is your chance to get stunning aerial views of this beautiful area. We fly south from Merimbula, over Pambula, the historic whaling township of Eden, Wonboyn, and the magnificent lake systems of the abalone capital, Mallacoota. As you look down in awe you will be entertained from within with background music and a running commentary from your local, experienced pilot. He will tell you all about the scenic areas, townships and beaches that colour the land below.

And from the Triple Lighthouse Tour you could expect nothing less than to fly over three lighthouses! After flying around the first lighthouse at Green Cape we continue over Disaster Bay and Wonboyn and onto Gabo Island, where we see the second lighthouse. We then travel onwards over Mallacoota and down to Little Rame Head for the third lighthouse. You’ll also get to see some amazing natural sand spits and may even catch a glimpse of migrating whales, depending on the time of year.

We then return to the heliport via the coast. After a gentle touchdown, you will emerge from the cabin full of amazing stories to tell and with a camera full of photos. Afterwards, stay back and recount your exciting helicopter scenic flight over a drink or two.

The mixed circus class gives you a taste of what it’s like to be in the circus, as you practice skills such as floor tumbling, acro-balancing, trampolining and juggling. If you’re looking for something a little more lofty, you might choose the aerial class which includes low trapeze, silks, aerial ring and rope. The double trapeze class involves partner work on a low trapeze and the acro-balance class involves partner and group balancing exercises.

Each lesson runs for 75 minutes and includes a warm-up, skills session, cool-down and stretch.

How To Cook A Raptuous Roast – Cooking Class – NSW

Learn how to cook a mouthwatering roast during this Sydney cooking class. It’s a self-contained introduction to everything you need to know about roasting and will teach you how to put on a simply stunning meal! The class is fun, flexible and practical, so put on your apron and get set to impress!

This cooking class is designed to give people more confidence when cooking, specifically roasts, in the kitchen!

Upon arrival you are offered a light beer, wine or water and will sit in on a safety briefing and orientation. The chef demonstrates the courses to be cooked and answers any of your questions. You then break off into groups to prepare the roasts, traditional accompliments and yummy sauces, under the guidance of the chef.

Then when all is ready and the delicious smells of roasting fill the room, we all sit down to eat! During our meal we match wines with the dishes and discuss why certain wines work.

On the menu:

Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding and gravy
Baked honey glazed ham
Roast lamb with mint sauce
Roast pork with apple sauce
Roast crispy-skin chicken with bread sauce

All served with roasted carrots, baked chats and cauliflower.

During the class you will learn how to carve a roast and portion a bird. You will get practical experience in food preparation, cooking and presentation, and will walk out with the skills necessary to provide good food, inexpensively, and with minimum effort.

You are also taught many of the shortcuts that professional chefs use to produce great results quickly – a bonus for people on the go. By introducing you to the practical theories of cooking, we expect the skills you learn during this course will last you a lifetime!
