But rest assured, no matter where you go or who you take with you, the 1964 Austin London Taxi is a dream to drive and will add magic and charm to your day.
On the day of your experience, we will deliver the London Taxi to the pre-arranged location at 8am. If you are driving the car you will be given a quick training session before handover. This gives you a chance to see the different handling capabilities of the vehicle. You will then be able to enjoy 24 hours of car hire freedom before we pick it up again from the pre-arranged location at 9am the next day.
This nostalgic and charming link to days gone by is now yours to enjoy for 24 hours. The London Taxi has a four-cylinder engine, 5-speed manual gearbox and a turning circle built for old London!
The vehicle will be handed over detailed, full of fuel, with a first-aid kit, fire extinguisher and spare fuel can in the boot. In the unlikely event of a breakdown, we have our own 24 hour call out service. We will endeavour to get you back on your way with as little fuss as possible.

Valid For: 7 people
Guidelines: You must have a current driver’s license to drive our cars. A $30 surcharge will apply to each additional driver (payable to the supplier). A credit card imprint is required prior to hand-over. If you don’t have a credit card we require a non-refundable $75 cash payment for insurance purposes.
Numbers: The price quoted is for a 24 hour hire of a London Taxi. The car features a manual transmission and seats up to seven people, including the driver.
This experience is not affected by the weather.
Session Length: The price quoted is at the weekend daily rate, however bookings can be made 7 days a week. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. You will receive the vehicle at 8am on the morning of your experience and it will be picked up again at 9am the following day.
Extra Info: The price quoted is for the first 200km. Excess will be charged at 80c per km including GST. The price does not include petrol and state taxes. You are required to return the car with a full tank of fuel. You will need to sign a rental agreement on the day, prior to car handover.

I would like to book the car for my wedding which is on Saturday 29th March 2008. I would like it to be dropped off on the Gold Coast on the morning of the 29th and then picked up the following morning (Sunday 30th March).
