You don’t even have to know how to boil an egg. After this authentic Asian cooking class you’ll have the skills to invite your friends over for dinner! With a dash of confidence, a sprinkling of tips and a splash of enthusiasm you’ll be cut loose in the kitchen to make a delicious Asian meal.
This is not a demonstration class. It’s important that YOU get the chance to do all the cooking – not the chef!
During the class you’ll learn knife style, preparation, and cooking skills, along with many other skills and tips for making delicious Asian food. It’s all in the preparation and commitment to a balance of flavours, textures and colours. You’ll learn how to make spectacular, yet easy, garnishes and be amazed at how easy it is to create Asian-inspired food that looks as good as it tastes. With one chef to each group of 8-13 people, you’ll be motivated and feeling kitchen-confident in no time!
So what’s on the menu?
At the start you’ll make delicious, fresh and healthy Vietnamese spring rolls. Then we’ll show you how to prepare and cook a whole fish, with a wonderful side of Acar Penang. You’ll learn the art of stir-frying – get set to rethink what you already know! – and create a fantastic vegetable dish with shiitake mushrooms.And depending on the group size you could also prepare a wonderful Asian duck salad, using the infamous Peking duck.
After the meal you all sit down with a glass of wine to eat the delicious food you’ve prepared!

Guidelines: You must be 15 years of age or older to participate in this experience and over 18 years to drink wine with the meal. Cooking classes may not be suitable for people with food allergies – please contact us if you have any concerns. Bring your sense of adventure and a smile!
Numbers: The price quoted is for one person. There will be a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 people per class. In the event that minimum numbers are not met, your experience will be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date.
Session Length: Authentic Asian cooking classes are held monthly on a Saturday. Please see below for available dates. Your cooking class starts at 11am and finishes at 2pm.
